Solar powered path lighting that is simple and safe to install, calibrated to the UK climate, high impact resistance for commercial application.

A 140mm diameter bollard light with anti glare top as it is designed to spread the light downwards. Made from high impact polycarbonate lens with internal reflector to diffuse the light evenly. The 1.8W Epistar LED chip generates a high 210 lumen output (at full brightness) with up to 50,000 hours life. Whilst not completely 'vandal' proof, this bollards body has a very high IK10 rating, and the lens an IK06 rating, making it perfect for commercial use. A great eco-friendly option as it converts natural energy into electrical current, and once installed, completely free to run.

Using intelligent time controllers, that are calibrated to the UK climate, to prolong battery life without compromising on brightness. The controllers operate a gradual dimming sequence to create a brighter light when it is most needed, in the early hours of darkness, and a less bright light when it is needed less, often in the morning. In addition, the Panama’s Active Smart Power System (ASPS) further reduces light emission when the battery voltage is low, resulting in longer-lasting light functionality.

At dusk, the Panama solar powered bollard light will illuminate at full brightness, and then follow a gradual dimming sequence until it reaches 30% brightness after 5 hours. Then it will remain at 30% until dawn. As a result, battery charge is retained for longer than other alternatives sequences. Even in the dullest of weather, this solar bollard will still illuminate, even though it may not last the entire night cycle, which in many cases is not a necessity. The on/off switch is concealed by a waterproof plug which is also much less noticeable.

PIR version :- At dusk, the Panama illuminates at 50% brightness. When the PIR sensor is triggered, the Panama switches to 100% brightness until 30 seconds of no motion is detected.
