An ideal solar path light or solar driveway light, both simple and safe to install. Not only is solar lighting environmentally friendly, converting natural energy into electrical current it is also completely free to run.

The Litecharga Solar Bollard Light is a 160mm diameter bollard with anti glare, frosted white polycarbonate lens. Designed to look like a standard, mains commercial bollard light. At dusk, the solar bollard light lights at full brightness then follows a gradual dimming sequence until it reaches 30% brightness after 5 hours. From then on it remains at 30% until dawn. As a result, the battery charge is retained for longer than other alternatives sequences. Even in the dullest of UK weather, the light will still illuminate, although they may not last the entire night cycle, which in many cases is not a necessity.

The PIR version lights at 50% brightness and once the PIR motion detector is triggered it will light at 100% brightness for 30 seconds, or until no motion is detected

The on/off switch is concealed by a waterproof plug which is also much less noticeable. Mount this solar bollard via the internal mounting flange, which in completely concealed within the streamlined bollard.

The Epistar LED chip (1.8W) generates a high 210 lumen output with up to 50,000 hours life. This solar powered bollard incorporates a substantial monocrystalline solar panel and replaceable LifePO4 lithium battery. As a result, optimum charge levels are maintained.

With a tough IK10 body, and IK06 solar panel rated this bollard isn't completely 'vandal proof', but it is very tough and suitable for outdoor commercial applications.
