Description

The Olympia lights are highly efficient solar lights with high capacity LiFePO4 lithium batteries and a fast charging Monocrystalline solar panel, meaning that they will re-charge efficiently even on partially cloudy or rainy days. The superior battery gives enough power for up to 23 hours of solid light, so 2 or 3 nights, even when there is little to no light during the day. The high Daylight White (6000K) 420 lumen output is bright enough to light footpaths and driveways with a downward spread projection of light. Both the pedestal and pathlight are designd to be surface mounted on walls, into wood, or set in to concrete if using J Bolts

The Olympia has a pre-set time controlled setting, at dusk they will light at full brightness for the first hour, then at 80% for two hours, 50% for the next two, and will light at 30% brightness for nine hours...or until dawn. This allows the lights to light all year round and all night.

The PIR version lights at 50% brightness, then once triggered it lights at 100% brightness for 30 seconds or until motion has stopped.

The taller pathlight at 800mm is perfect for lighting walkways or roads, and the smaller pedestal at 380mm could also be used as a low level pathlight, but beware of it being a trip hazard for members of the public, they are more suited to be placed along the top of walls, or perhaps mounted onto gate posts.

Other than the initial mounting there is little to no installation, maintenance, or ongoing running costs, other than a quick wipe of the solar panel to keep it clear of dirt and debris. The LEDs have a 50,000 hour life, which is over 7 years if used continually all year round. They can also be turned off and stored for around 6 months if not needed increasing the life even more, the solar panel itself has a 25 year life, and if the battery were to become damaged (leaving off for more than 6 months) then they are replaceable.
