The Olympia Max is a solar street light designed for commercial use, and being an all in one unit, installation is simple, 4 Allen screws on the collar secure the head to a 76mm lamppost, and a single ON/OFF button ensures a swift start up. Available to buy with or without a 3 meter black galvanised pole, allowing you to purchase the lamp only and use your own 76mm post, the recommended mounting height for UK solar street lights is between 3 and 5 meters.
High output LED chips positioned at the top of the head emit 2200lm of brightness in a daylight white colour temperature (6000K). Daylight white (6000K) produces high contrast, making areas such as car parks and pathways appear more spacious.
The two-tone polycarbonate diffuser disperses the light downwards a full 360 degrees, preventing glare and providing a soft and effective beam of light. The lightweight die-cast aluminium shell surrounds the remainder of the fitting. Die-cast aluminium and polycarbonate are strong materials, allowing for installation in a wide range of public spaces.
The Olympia Max reaches a working time of up to 12 hours with as little as 5 hours charge. Attached to the roof of the head is a large monocrystalline solar panel. To maintain optimum performance and efficiency, clean the panel monthly, removing all dirt and debris. A high capacity 3.2v/20000MAH LiFePO4 battery stores energy until it is needed during darkness. Even in the dullest of weather, our solar street lights will still illuminate, although they may not last the full night cycle, which in many cases is not a necessity.
The dimming sequence of the street lamp is the first hour at 100% brightness, the next hour at 80%, then an hour at 60% brightness, the next four hours at 40% brightness, and the final five hours at 20% brightness. This allows the light to perform for most of the night throughout the year.
