Luxa Fire Flame Lamp with Red LEDs

Description

This version of the Firelamp has been specifically designed for use in Fireplaces, their most common home. Can be used in domestic or commercial settings such as theatrical props. The standard Firelamp gives a nicely fluttering flame with flickering firelight all around the inside of the opening but what it has been missing is that red hot glow down at the base of the fireplace.

The addition of a string of red LEDs around the lower part of the Firelamp gives this glow and it is most effective when the red LEDs are partially obscured by logs, twigs, coals etc. (what you want to see is the glow, not the individual LEDs). If the pinpoint red light from the odd LED shows through its surroundings, you can plug the hole with a small piece of teased-out cotton wool to diffuse the light into a glow.
